As you enter 1917 you will be taken back in time, to a Czarist salon just overtaken by Bolshevists. A distinctive mix of elegance with more modern elements that evoke Constructivism. Dim lights, gold painted ceilings, red velvet curtains, all make our place very intimate and welcoming.

Blinis are our house speciality. We serve them with assorted smoked fish - salmon, herring, eel, tuna - a variety of caviar - herring, salmon, even Iranian caviar - creme fraiche and sweet gherkins.  We also offer steak tartare and our house especial: a spaghetti nest with egg yolk and caviar.

The heart of 1917  is  our bar, which offers a selected list of vodkas from Russia, Poland, Estonia, Ukraine, Switzerland, France, Finland,  and other countries; from the standard Wyborowa to premium brands such as Elit, Belvedere and rare brands like Viru Valge or Pan Tadeusz. You will also find our unique variety of cocktails, like the White Estonian - a variation of the White Russian with an Estonian liquor - or the Tanaka - a mix of Zubròwka with apple juice.

1917 is located in Central Madrid, close to the Opera House, the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor, which makes it a perfect place to have dinner or just drop by for a drink as you walk around the city.
